Materials used in Information Technology must respond to electrical signals reproducibly and quickly. The Metal Oxide Perovskite materials display a dramatic range of electrical, magnetic and optical properties which can be controlled by varying chemical composition and processing.

Research Program:

Iterative microstructure-property-processing optimization of ferroelectric and magnetic perovskite thin films and heterostructures. Focus on property improvements relevant to applications in memories, sensors, and process integration.
